Cynthia Louise Bissett, vice director of Verizon Mobile. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr., a businessman and director of an internet-based network was her father. She was born and raised as a Catholic in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Because of this, her parents were enrolled in the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a revered religious institution. Her love of music began in the early years of a child. She was taught to play the keyboard and, at age 13, wrote her very first track. She has participated in many open mic events. Her favourite singers are the Queen Michael Jackson Madonna David Bowie. She was a student at the Tisch School of Art of New York University after completing her secondary schooling. Although she was not able to pursue her studies, and instead she quit them to start her musical career.
